Los Angeles, CA - New Western University (NWU) successfully hosted its virtual conference "Management in the Era of Artificial Intelligence" on December 17, 2024, bringing together 40 distinguished attendees from academia and industry to explore the transformative impact of AI on modern management practices.

The conference, which connected participants across multiple time zones, featured an impressive lineup of speakers led by NWU President Dr. Kevin Liu, who emphasized AI's role as a partner in shaping the future of management. "Artificial intelligence is not just a tool; it's a partner in shaping the future of management," stated Dr. Liu in his keynote address. "Together, we stand at the threshold of an era where technology empowers humanity to achieve unprecedented innovation."

Distinguished speakers included Professor Volodymyr Koval, a member of the New York Academy of Sciences and NWU's Board of Directors, who shared insights on academia-industry partnerships. Kate Sydorenko, Dean of NWU's College of Business, presented on AI's revolutionary impact on business strategies, while AI Lecturer Oleh Basystiuk showcased NWU's innovative AI education programs.

A highlight of the event was the presentation by Nataliia Melnykova, Head of AI Department at Lviv Polytechnic National University, who delivered an impactful talk on "The Power of Partnership in AI," emphasizing the importance of collaboration in driving innovation.

The conference, moderated by Yurii Kushnarov, NWU's Director of Public Affairs, included an interactive Q&A session that fostered meaningful dialogue between speakers and participants about real-world AI implementation challenges and opportunities.
