New Western University (NWU) proudly announces that Dr. Ganna Gurina, a distinguished member of the NWU faculty, has been officially awarded the prestigious title of Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine — one of the highest scholarly honors in the country.

This recognition was confirmed by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine during NWU’s recent academic engagement in Lviv. The title reflects Dr. Gurina’s outstanding contributions to academic research, particularly in the fields of supply chain optimization, business education, and interdisciplinary innovation.

Recognized for her contributions to economic sciences, Dr. Gurina is also a Corresponding Member of the Transport Academy of Ukraine and an active participant in the All-Ukrainian Forum "Women's Leadership During the War", advocating for leadership and resilience in times of crisis.

An Honor That Reflects NWU’s Growing Academic Strength 

Dr. Gurina's appointment as an Academician not only honors her personal academic journey but also signifies NWU’s rising international profile and commitment to academic excellence. She becomes the second NWU faculty member to receive this distinction, highlighting the caliber and scholarly dedication of NWU’s teaching team.

• 100% of NWU faculty members hold PhD degrees

• 2 faculty members have been named Academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
