New Western University (NWU) recently convened experts from the University of St Andrews (UK) and several Ukrainian institutions for a high-level summit on the future of AI. Held on May 4, 2026, the conference, “Risk, Governance, and Strategy in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” explored how AI is reshaping global resilience, cybersecurity, and business strategy.
NWU President Dr. Kevin Liu opened the event, emphasizing the importance of international dialogue in a time of rapid technological change and global uncertainty.
