The full scholarships listed in the table above are available for qualified applicants from the following categories:

  • Applicants who lost their parents due to war (killed, missing, or in captivity)

  • Applicants whose parents are military personnel with combatant status

  • Applicants residing in de-occupied, occupied, or frontline territories

  • Internally displaced applications from the war zone

A document confirming that the person belongs to the selected category is required.


Selection process

Scholarships are awarded based on the ranking of applicants according to clearly defined criteria (academic achievement, scholarship application essay, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, special qualifications). Each application undergoes independent evaluation by the Scholarship Review Committee to ensure objectivity. The committee collectively reviews and signs off on final scholarship candidates before granting awards.

Continuing eligibility

To retain the scholarship each quarter, recipients must:

  • Maintain a minimum 3.2 GPA (US GPA system)

  • Uphold NWU’s values, including academic integrity and professionalism

  • Maintain a 90% attendance rate

  • Demonstrate diligent study habits and complete all courses each quarter

  • The scholarship is applied on a quarterly basis, contingent upon the recipient's compliance with the Scholarship Maintenance Requirements as outlined in the program's terms. Continuation of funding for subsequent quarters is subject to a review of the recipient’s performance at the conclusion of each quarter. Failure to satisfy the stated requirements will result in the termination of scholarship eligibility, and the student will be responsible for all tuition and associated costs for the subsequent quarter.

  • How long does the MBA take?

Program duration is 18 months (6 quarters).

  • How many courses will be studied?

A total of 12 courses. NWU is structured by quarters – there will be 2 courses per quarter.

  • What is the learning format?

100% online, Zoom lectures and assessments are organized on the online learning platform.

  • What is the weekly schedule, including time adjustments, considering the time difference?

Classes are scheduled twice a week. For example, 6-10 PM Kyiv time, Tuesday and Wednesday.

  • What is the format of the final assessment?

There is an exam at the end of each course. The final assessment of the program is a capstone project.

  • What general knowledge will be gained?

The MBA is a comprehensive and flexible program that prepares students for leadership roles in diverse industries. The curriculum provides a solid foundation in core business concepts while offering specialized concentrations in Risk Management or Artificial Intelligence. Students gain expertise in their chosen field, enabling them to navigate challenges and drive organizational success in today's dynamic business environment.

  • Is a background in management required?

No, anyone with a bachelor's degree is eligible to attend this program. No prerequisites are required.

  • Are there age restrictions for studying in the program?

There are no age restrictions for studying in the MBA program at NWU.

  • What does a Capstone Project include?

Students prepare their capstone projects at NWU’s partner companies. Throughout the duration of the project, the student collaborates with two mentors – one from the university and one from the partner company – and carries out the project in real business conditions.
