For Winter 2027, NWU will offer up to 10 scholarships covering 90% of tuition in each

concentration. NWU reviews each scholarship application using the published selection criteria. Admission alone does not guarantee a scholarship.


Selection process

Applicants who apply to the Winter 2027 MBA program may also apply for scholarship

consideration. Applicants must first qualify for admission to the Winter 2027 MBA program

before NWU will consider them for a scholarship. Scholarship materials must be submitted

together with the MBA admission application by the application deadline.

Scholarships are awarded based on review of applicants’ submitted materials. Review criteria include academic achievement, scholarship application essay or statement of purpose, extracurricular, professional, or leadership experience, letters of recommendation, and unique skills, talents, or achievements relevant to their field of study. Each application undergoes independent evaluation by the Scholarship Review Committee to ensure objectivity.

Admission requirements

Applicants must submit the NWU online application and meet the MBA admission requirements, including:

  • Must be a member of International Innovation Research Center (IIRC)

  • Completed the NWU application form

  • Bachelor's degree diploma and transcript (or equivalent)

  • Government-issued photo ID

  • Official English proficiency test results (if applicable)

  • Credential evaluation (for non-U.S. university transcripts)

Scholarship Application Materials

Applicants seeking scholarship consideration must also submit the following materials with their MBA admission application:

  • Current résumé

  • Two letters of recommendation from professional or academic referees

  • Scholarship Application Essay (Statement of Purpose), detailing educational and work history, and goals of education and employment

Continuing Scholarship Eligibility

Scholarships are intended to support recipients throughout the standard MBA program, subject to continued eligibility. Scholarship recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on the U.S. 4.0 GPA scale to continue receiving scholarship support. Additional scholarship maintenance requirements will be stated in the scholarship award letter.

FAQ

  • How long does the MBA take? 

Program duration is 18 months (6 quarters). 

  • How many courses will be studied?

A total of 12 courses. NWU is structured by quarters – there will be 2 courses per quarter. 

  • What is the learning format?

100% online, Zoom lectures and assessments are organized on the online learning platform. 

  • What is the weekly schedule, including time adjustments, considering the time difference?

Classes are scheduled twice a week. For example, 6-10 PM Kyiv time, Tuesday and Wednesday. 

  • What is the format of the final assessment? 

There is an exam at the end of each course. The final assessment of the program is a capstone project.

  • What general knowledge will be gained?

The MBA is a comprehensive and flexible program that prepares students for leadership roles in diverse industries. The curriculum provides a solid foundation in core business concepts while offering specialized concentrations in Risk Management or Artificial Intelligence. Students gain expertise in their chosen field, enabling them to navigate challenges and drive organizational success in today's dynamic business environment.

  • Is a background in management required?

No. Applicants do not need a background in management, but they must meet all NWU MBA admission requirements.  

  • Are there age restrictions for studying in the program?

There are no age restrictions for studying in the MBA program at NWU.

  • What does a Capstone Project include?

The final assessment of the MBA program is a capstone project. Students complete a project that allows them to apply program learning to practical business, management, technology, or risk-related issues.
